Hey guys,
first let me apologize for being pretty much quiet during the past couple of months. We had to get some rest after the first patch was released
But we're back to work now, trying to improve the game as much as we can!
So, the next patch is scheduled for a release early next week. We have worked hard to fix as many issues as we could, while also adding a few small features and improving existing ones.
Here is the current changelist:
- Added option to hide the injury history rating
- Added an (editable) league evolution log to the league history screen
- Added the option to disable recalculation of player potential ratings in historical leagues, resulting in improved AI for career leagues using ratings recalc
- Added option for the 10/5 rule
- Added option in online leagues to remove managers from teams in the "Human Manager Status" screen (Game Menu), available if current manager is the commish
- Tweaked pitcher creation for feeder leagues
- Tweaked contract extension demands for arbitration-eligible players
- Tweaked draft bonus negotitations, major league contract offers are now factored into the bonus demand and no longer on top of the bonus.
- Improved roster management AI when roster limits are applied in the lower minor leagues, preventing good prospects to be released
- Fixed some players becoming super 2 eligible during the offseason
- Fixed manually released players qualifying for FA compensation
- Fixed calculation for projected final balance on the team front office screen
- Fixed bug which caused some historical pitchers to import with only one pitch
- Fixed bug which caused that the "Picture search mode" setting was not saved correctly
- Fixed bug where player pictures were not updating correctly or going to team logo
- Revamped picture menu on player, coach and manager screen
- Moved player picture specific settings from the database info screen to the game options screen
- Added function to picture menu: load photo file
- Added function to picture menu: auto-update picture
- If the user manually selected a picture, it will no longer be auto-updated when loading the league
- Baseball cards can now show season stats for current season plus each of the previous 9 seasons, and change colors of images
- Several additions to storylines
- Fixed several small bugs
If all goes well then we'll release the patch on Monday. After that we will start working on another patch which will bring even more small features and fix outstanding or reported issues. This patch is scheduled for mid-August and will conclude the OOTP 11 development cycle.
