I have never used the Spritzey High School db before. I have one thought (at a time; two is too many) though and that would be to check what database you are pointing to when you tell the game to load up either the historical database or the Master. Is it the one that came with the game? That one will give you 115, because that's how many players debuted in 1871. The Gambo/Spritze db and the Spritze High School db should be giving you hundreds more, when you startup on 01/01/1871.

Did you perhaps overwrite the stats folder in the OOTP11 Baseball folder when you downloaded the Gambo/Spritze and then overwrite the Gambo/Spritze when downloading the Spritzey High School? The best way to avoid this is to copy/paste the stats folder itself into say the Out of the Park Developments folder in My Documents (Documents with Windows 7), rename it something like "Default", so you'll know the difference between databases and then cut/paste it back into the stats folder. Once you've done that you can get rid of the 28 files (26 csv files, 1 odb file, 1 text file) within the stats folder apart from the Default folder that you just copied/created. Keep the Default folder and get rid of the rest. Then create a folder called: "Gambo/Spritze" and extract the Gambo/Spritze files from their zip file into it. Same thing for the Spritze High School. You now have three different databases to play with. Just be sure to point to the right one when you're setting up a game.

If you over wrote the stats folder don't worry. It's not as big a deal this year as it was in previous years when you had to uninstall/reinstall. You have a zip file called "stats" in My Computer (Computer if you have Windows 7) > Local Disk (C: ) [looks stupid because a close bracket has to be separated from a colon, otherwise you get a ] > Program Files (Program Files (x86) with Windows 7) > Out of the Park Developments > OOTP Baseball 11 > default_data. Extract the stats zip file in there to your "Default" folder within your stats folder to overwrite what you may or may not have overwritten with the other two downloads...And voila...Three databases. Now off you go until you reach the next fork in the massive learning curve involved in this game. I spent all of my time with OOTPX (quite a bit of time with OOTP11 too!) just learning all the different options and figuring out how I wanted to play. Not time wasted though. Complex? Yes. At times unwieldy and frustrating? Yes. Great game? Yes, once you get it to do what you want it to do, which takes time.

Once again, welcome to the OOTP boards and just for future reference, despite the fact that this is a database issue, you probably would've gotten more traffic (and thus more potential respondents) in the General Discussions sub-forum. Let the mods move it if they want to. That's fine, but if you want help in a more timely fashion, that's probably where you should post. Keep asking those questions - no such thing as a stupid one. You'll get there eventually. Drop me a PM anytime if there's something you don't want to ask on the boards. Cheers.
Been along time my friend..it's been a crazy trip for me. lol.
The idea of being able to use multiple databases was just too much for me to keep passing up. lol
I think I may have done the overwriting part. lol. I'm gonna go through right now and check it out.
I'm definitely digging this version of OOTP, a much different and quicker version than the last one I played years ago.
