Hey Getch,

We had an interesting development in our Amateur Draft in the ASBA.

Basically a team autodrafted Joseph Goodchild who was the only player left on the next team's draft list. When the screen refreshed, Goodchild had been drafted by BOTH teams.

I suspect that the 2nd team's autodraft from list setting didn't recognize that the the player had just been drafted the pick before and thus "thought" it could still select him.

Would that type of thing be avoided if you built in a 5 second delay in auto-drafting (or auto-drafting from list)?

Just a thought from a totally bizarre scenario that popped up.
