I intend to control every team in a league I recently constructed, and have turned trades and financials off for the time being. Every team has 40 players (25 active), with ghost players making up the rest of AAA level(the only minor league). In addition to these players I have about 50 free agents to cover injuries. My questions are these...

If after I play out the first season, I decide turn financials on again before the next season, what effect will that have? Where will new players come from? I am using real players right now and would like to add other real players into the mix each season instead of having fictional players eventually replace every one...can this be done manually?

My goal is pretty much to play about 15 or 20 seasons with a league that I control 100%, meaning I will make all lineup decisions for every team throughout each season, and make every transaction
in the off-season (no trades during season). Can I do this even with financials turned on?
