Bobby Doerr: the Last survivor of 1930s MLB
The death of Art Kenney last month means that Hall Of Fame Boston Red Sox' second baseman, Bobby Doerr, 96, is now the last living person who played major leagues baseball in the 1930s. Doerr broke into the majors and became an everyday player at the tender age of 19 for Boston in 1937 and played through 1951.
Any photos members could post of a young Doerr would be appreciated, particularly from his rookie year.
