After getting the first out, SP Brady Murdy loads the bases by hitting C Dylan Watkins and then walking both RF Quentin Stubber and LF Bob Boynton.
2B Tom Addis hits a 2-out single, scoring both Watkins and Stubber. CF Colin Blyth then singles in Boynton. SS Gabriel Fairless follows with a single of his own to score Addis.

3B Ryley McLarnon leads off with a double and comes in to score when Quentin Stubber hits a 1-out single.

Bottom of the 7th:
Ryley McLarnon again leads off with a double and comes in to score on a Dylan Watkins single. Quentin Stubber singles to put runners on first and second. 1B Byron Top doubles with 1-out to score both Watkins and Stubber.
That ended SP Brady Murdy’s day and all the scoring Wellington needed to even the series at 2 games apiece.

3B Ryley McLarnon reaches second on an error and later steals third. McLarnon comes in to score on RF Quentin Stubber’s sac fly.

Bottom of the 2nd:
2B Tom Addis leads off with a bunt single, but is out at second on a fielder’s choice.
SS Gabriel Fairless singles to put runners on first and second.
Ryley McLarnon triples with 2-out, scoring both CF Colin Blyth and Fairless.

Bottom of the 5th:
Ryley McLarnon leads off with a first-pitch triple and scores on C Dylan Watkins’ 2-run homer off of SP Darwin Monday.
Quentin Stubber follows with a single, reaches second base on a passed ball and third base on a wild pitch during 1B Byron Tope’s at-bat.
Tope then singles in Stubber for the inning’s third run.

Top of the 6th:
LF Jayden Tennant walks with one out and reaches third on 2B Mo Symes double.
Tennant scores on C Cereneo Tolentino’s sac fly.
Back-to-back doubles by 3B Albert Howard and Darwin Monday scores Symes and Howard.

Top of the 9th:
With 1-out, PH Andrew Jensen draws a walk off of RP Bryan Newitt. Jensen moves to third on CF Soshu Shimizu’s double. RF Chong-sik Lee singles to score Jensen.
SS Okura Ito reaches base on an error at second base. The error allows Shimizu to score.
After 1B Fergus Chitty walks to load the bases, Jayden Tennant singles, scoring both Lee and Ito to give Kingston the lead for good.

CF Soshu Shimizu leads off with a single, but is out at second on a fielder’s choice. SS Okura Ito singles, moving RF Chong-sik Lee to second. 1B Fergus Chity follows with a triple, scoring Lee and Ito.
After LF Jayden Tennant walks, 2B Mo Symes doubles to score Chitty. C Cereneo Tolentino reaches first on an error, allowing Tennant to score the inning’s fourth run.
Wellington 0 – Kingston 4
Bottom of the 2nd:
Soshu Shimizu leads off with a single, but again is out at second on a fielder’s choice. After Chong-sik Lee’s steal of second, Fergus Chitty singles him in to score.
Wellington 0 – Kingston 5
Top of the 5th:
2B Tom Addis leads off with a single and reaches third base when SS Gabriel Fairless singles with 1-out. Addis tags up and comes in to score on SP Michael Hanley’s sac fly.
Wellington 1 – Kingston 5
Bottom of the 6th:
Kingston’s big inning begins with SP Joey Cumberledge reaching first base on a throwing error. Soshu Shimizu draws a walk and Chong-sik Lee singles to load the bases.
Okura Ito promptly singles to score Cumberledge. Fergus Chitty then draws a walk with the bases loaded to score Shimizu. SP Michael Hanley is then relieved by Bryan Newitt.
But Kingston will not be denied.
Jayden Tennant singles to score Lee. Mo Symes’s sac fly scores Ito from third.
Cereneo Tolentino singles to reload the bases.
3B Albert Howard draws a walk, scoring Fergus Chitty. PH Norm Callaway also draws a walk, scoring Tennant.
Tolentino comes in to score on a fielder’s choice, before the inning mercifully comes to an end.
Wellington 1 – Kingston 12
Top of the 7th:
CF Colin Blyth draws a lead-off walk off of Tadayuki Sakai, who came in to relieve Joey Cumberledge. Gabriel Fairless singles and reaches second when Blyth beats out the throw at third.
RP Bryan Newitt singles, scoring both Blyth and Fairless.
Wellington 3 – Kingston 12
Bottom of the 7th:
Fergus Chitty puts an exclamation point on the game and series with a solo shot to left field with 1-out. RP Tadayuki Sakai shuts down Wellington the rest of the way and the Kingston Pelicans win the inaugural United Cup.
