Time is the issue. We play the game at light speed and forget that it often takes 3 seasons for even the best prospects to get close. Unless he gets injured slot him in a good spot for at least one season. Evaluate him differently as he gets out of the low minors. Avoid promoting him to soon. Dominating is good for young pitchers.

Remember a pitch count.
