The two worst teams in 1972 face each other in Spring Training. It's Texas vs Cleveland.

Steve Rogers held Cleveland scoreless through 4 innings, allowing 3 hits and walking 1 while striking out 2.

Horacio Pina gave up 1 run 3 hits in 3 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 1.

Bill Gogolewski gave up a hit and a walk and struck out 2 in 2 innings.

Because the game went extra, Gerry Janeski pitched 1.2 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 3.

Mike Garman pitched 1.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits and a walk.

Ted Ford had a 2-run homer in the top of the twelfth that gave Texas the win 3-2.
