Bell hit a solo home run in the top of the first.

Harrah did him one better with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the first. Hargan ended the bottom of the first by striking out Howard for his 40th K of the season.

Moses tied it with an RBI single in the top of the second.

Suarez gave the Rangers the lead back in the bottom of the second with a sacrifice fly.

After three: Texas 3 Cleveland 2.

In the top of the fourth, Broberg struck out Unser for his 40th K of the season. Leon then gave the Indians the lead back with a 2-run homer.

Mason tied the game with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth. Hargan struck out Suarez to end the inning but injured his back and had to leave the game.

Jim Crawford took the mound for the Indians in the bottom of the fifth.

After six: Cleveland 4 Texas 4.

Nettles put the Indians back on top with an RBI single in the top of the seventh. With runners at the corners and one out, Mike Garman replaced Broberg. Bell then scored on a passed ball.

Tom Hilgendorf came on to pitch for the Indians in the bottom of the ninth. And got the 1-2-3.

Still no 3-game win streak for the Rangers.

Final score: Cleveland 6 Texas 4.
