Cardinals head to Houston; Taguchi active Shere sent down
The Cardinals head for Houston for a three-game series with the AL West leading Houston Astros. The 2004 St. Louis Cardinals defeated this Houston team in a seven-game NLCS to reach the World Series.
St. Louis also has activated outfielder So Taguchi from the disabled list.
Infielder/outfielder Floyd Shere was sent to AAA Chandler.
