The St Louis Cardinals have claimed RP Fred Norman from the Los Angeles Dodgers on waivers. The 28 year old is 3-1 with 2 saves, a 4.61 ERA in 24 games this year for the Dodgers. For his career, Norman is 3-6 with 2 saves, a 5.18 ERA in 39 games including 7 starts. Norman was sidelined through much of the 1967 season with a shoulder injury.
