Hey Alex, I've tried to use the Gatekeeper workaround solution, but the below screenshot is the error I get. Not sure if the people at Valve/Steam need confirmation or something that the game is compatible to work with MacOS Catalina.
However, as I was typing this I got an update from Steam that seems to address something along the lines of "games where developers haven't confirmed or denied Catalina compatibility". This Steam update seemed to do the trick, so I'd recommend everyone try to update Steam ASAP to make this work.
