My name is Matt, and I'm starting up a new online league. I've been in a variety of leagues over the years, but my absolute favorite has been MLB Pro, which I'm still an active member of.
That being said with baseball currently on hiatus, I've found myself with an abundance of free time and a longing for baseball.
So I've decided to start a league of my own, created to be very similar to MLB Pro.
For starters:

Sim Schedule: 1 day in-game = 1 day in real-life. The time of the sim will be determined via league vote once we have enough members
Scouting/Coaching: Both are on. Scouting is 20-80 (normal).
Communication: Slack
This season will be slightly altered due to what's going on in real life, so there will be a 120 game schedule starting on May 15, with a 3 week spring training leading into games. The draft will also be reduced to just 10 rounds for this season.
Both of these things will be reverted to real life norms as of the 2021 season.
The other adaptation is that the suggested elimination of minor league teams has happened, so all teams will have 5 minor league teams (AAA/AA/A+/A/R) with an INT complex.
Lastly, this league is meant to be as close to realistic as OOTP can get, so while we will leave things up to league votes, at the end of the day league management will make the decisions that would help create the most realistic simulation.
