Thanks fuzzy_patters! Yes, I know that there isn't one or two magic stats that are going to sum up everything a good GM needs to know - that's why I need to create this little cheat sheet.
I played baseball all the way through college (1996) and I've been setting up my lineups exactly as you are because that's all I've ever known. I think it's time to get my butt in gear. I'm embarrassed to even make this post, but it's my own fault for never taking the time to understand the advanced stats. Again, thanks man!
