Colorado Fourteeners
This will hopefully be a brief introduction to the Colorado Fourteeners. I will have to go more into depth with them and their franchise's organization later, of course. But right now, I'll try to give you all a brief introduction to them here, about two months before Opening Day of their second season.
They are based out of Colorado Springs, and their current owner is Matthew Payne. I'm not sure who the owner was for the first season, but I do know that Matthew Payne is the listed owner for them currently, in any case. He is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and he's currently 46 years old, with a birthdate of July 15, 1900.
The Fourteeners finished fourth in the Sanctuary League's Sanctum Division, with a record of 75-79. They have a good number of older players in the upper levels of their organizations, but there may be some good prospects at lower levels, at the present time.
Their farm teams are the Plano Navigators in AAA, the Greensboro Fighting Knights in AA, and the Jersey City Steelhounds in A. While they don't seem to have a good farm system yet, we'll have to keep an eye on them in the near future, I think, just the same.
I have caps and uniforms for them, but no suitable logos, just yet. If anyone wants to help me out here, I'd appreciate it if someone could make some good logos for them to use, especially non-circular ones in the colors and in fonts similar to the one or ones on the caps and/or uniforms, seeing as I'm still not able to make decent enough logos myself, or at least not for the most part, anyway. Thanks in advance if anyone is willing to try to help me out here, of course, as well, folks.
Will probably write more about Colorado soon, if not in the next post, of course, folks. But that may have to wait a bit, for I have a few things to do in real life first, I think. Until next time, then, I'll close this. CD out.
