Also, Stanley!! Your ship has arrived. I'm sure I don't have to tell you, but IMHO the Mays SE card looks very usable to me - 114/88/106 in LF/CF/RF and a pretty good bat. In my batter evaluation spreadsheet I rank him near the top of "all blue" outfielders. I know the price is all over the map right now since the card just came out, but my estimation is that the card is worth in the low 30k (I see the floor on the card at about 29k since it’s a 100, and the ceiling at around 40k - I have him ranked above the 95 OVR Dwight Evans, which is a 30k card, and below the 100 OVR Fred Lynn, which is a 39k card). So I suspect he will end up going for 33-34k. All those auctions asking for outrageous amounts will end and I am sure the card will eventually be offered in that price range. So if you wanted an "affordable" Willie, I think that's your guy.[/QUOTE]

Thanks for the tip! I haven't been trolling for Willie for a couple of weeks. One of my teams pulled a 97 Jorge Posada, which might get me a start on gathering the cash. I've been playing him, but I'd just as soon put Gedman back in, who I liked better when they played, although Posada was okay for a Yankee. You hear a yell this wseekend, you'll know I struck gold.
