If it's crashing and causing a reboot, I would suggest running some hardware checks on your machine. Maybe the ram is corrupted or not installed correctly, for instance. You might need to debug through some windows logs (like here: https://www.digitalmastersmag.com/ma...on-windows-10/ or you can google to find other suggestions maybe), since an application crash should basically never be able to cause a full windows reboot unless if there's something else going wrong in the system.
