EDIT: Everything worked right for the Arrows as they raised their 2037 Japan Series banner. New DH Shigeo Tanigawa slugged a 447-ft home run in the bottom of the 1st that was all the team needed...except LF Brad Chapman went 3-for-4 with a 2-run shot and new CF Akiho Sana went 4-for-5 with a 2-run homer of his own. RHP Shigejiro Matsumoto went the distance, giving up two solo home runs among 7 hits and 1 walk, striking out 14 Lions.
