When I created the Aztecs, I decided to avoid SE cards as much as possible and it has been more enjoyable getting some of my favorite all-time players.

I had a very similar experience. My first team (Tasmanian Devils) just bounces between Gold and Diamond each week. I rarely look at them now. The team isn't interesting, and there is no clear path forward. That was my reason for restarting (and joining the -OL league). I wanted to start over, and concentrate on having fun, not necessarily winning.

I'm not as disciplined as some, though. For me, the desire to "win" vs. "have fun" is a struggle. It's tough not to throw Bagwell or Maddux on the roster on Saturday morning, knowing that might make the difference between grabbing a playoff spot or not...
