News Flash--Hooterville Hits Paydirt!
Late last night, Hooterville landed a 100 Tom Glavine from one of the four drop packs they received for watching Rich's Perfect Team Playoff Prep Show!
Up until last night, Hooterville had not landed one 100 Perfect Card, and was having mediocre to semi-poor luck with foil packs, since PT21 was released.
Of the four packs opened up, Hooterville hit back-to-back foild packs containing a Perfect Card.
The first one last night was 100 Live Edwin Diaz, who is currently only worth 22,675pp.
Hooterville's 2nd foil pack contained Glavine, which a total shock, as it is the first ever Non-Live Perfect card I have ever pulled.
My track record is very poor as these are the only other two Perfect Cards I have ever pulled.
PT19-100 Mike Trout during Beta Test
PT20-100 Chris Sale
So now Hotterville is at a major crossroad.
What should they do?
Is the100 Glavine a big stud and will turn my team's historical poor performances into a powerhouse to be reckoned with for seasons to come or do we sell him off in the AH and use the proceeds to retool the team with super high-rated players, mainly pitchers?
For the last several seasons Hooterville has turned into a Silver Level Powerhouse however, they get their butt handed to them in the first season they get promoted up to Gold. Then after the horible season, they get regulated back down to Silver for 1-2 years, and then they get promoted back up to Gold for 1 year, and get regulated back down to Silver, repeat, repeat, repeat.
For those of you with teams in the Gold Level or Higher, how is Glavine in those levels?
Based on his current 7 day average, he either is a very rare card, a major impact player/card, or both.
I would appreciate any useful feedback.
Thanks in Advance!
