The Cleveland Naps traded CF Harry Bay and 2B William Barbeau to the Washington Senators for SP Cy Falkenberg.
The St Louis Cardinals placed SS Ed Holly on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 27 and placed RP Babe Adams on the 60-day disabled list. Adams will miss 9-10 months because of a torn rotator cuff.
