I don't think there is currently logic to pull a two-way player who is already in the game onto the mound.

So, the only time it might happen is if they have a day off for some reason (and maybe that doesn't end up happening because they are likely listed as tired).

I'm honestly not sure how a real-life team would use a player like this either, there isn't really precedent that I am aware of.
