Well the Rays will be facing either the Angels or the Tigers after LA won their one-game playoff with the White Sox for the second wild card in the most dramatic of fashion with Rich Gil's homer breaking a 6-6 tie in the bottom of the 9th:

PLAYOFF ROSTER SET: A couple of guys who haven't been up with the big club made the playoff roster thanks to injuries to Jordan Diaz and Bobby Witt Jr. Malachi Benford, who had been up briefly in 2029 and 2030 as a reliever but has been part of Durham's rotation the last two years, will pitch in long relief if needed, and 3B prospect Bo Angeac will back up Dane Ayers at the hot corner and likely only see action in the event Ayers gets hurt.
The NL Wild Card Game:
Great game from Leo Ortega, one of the top pitchers in the NL and the Cards put this one away early. They will now take on the Reds in the NLDS.

Bring on the Tigers! The last we played them in the playoffs was in 2024 in an epic 7-game ALCS which saw the Rays come back from 3-1 down in the series to win on a walk-off in the bottom of the 9th in Game 7 after blowing the lead in top of the inning.
