ALCS Game 4, NLCS Game 5:
Texas is on the verge now of making their first World Series since consecutive appearances in 2010-11 thanks to a win over the Tigers and thanks to the Tigers themselves who knocked off the Rays, who had beaten Texas the last 3 years in the ALCS. Edgar Medina's 2-run double in the 10th was the winner. And the Reds routed the Diamondbacks behind Jack Leiter's 6 2/3 shutout innings and a barrage of runs in a series that recalls the 2019 World Series as the home team just can't win it. Arizona will have to hope that trend continues as the series shifts back to Cincinnati for Game 6.

ALCS Game 5:
The Tigers stay alive with a tight win behind their ace Kumar Rocker in a battle against the Rangers' ace Wil Diaz. They'll still have to win two more in Texas if they want to pull this out, though.

NLCS Game 6:
The Cincinnati Reds are in the World Series for the first time since 1990, when they shocked the Oakland A's, as the home team finally won a game in the series. This time around, they'll probably be the favorites as they had an NL-best 101 wins.

ALCS Game 6:
We've got a Game 7 on our hands! Carter Young homered and drove in 3 to lead Detroit to the Game 6 and force a deciding game. The Tigers, who were victimized the last time they were in the ALCS after taking a 3-1 series lead on the Rays, will now hope to do the same to Texas, which doesn't want to lose a fourth consecutive ALCS.

ALCS Game 7:
They did it! The Tigers came back from 3-1 down in the series to win Game 7 and advance to their first World Series since 2012 where they'll play the Cincinnati Reds. For the second straight series Detroit had to beat a Cy Young winner (or Cy Young-elect) in the deciding game as they took care of likely 2031 winner Andy Aparicio in the ALDS and beat the reigning winner Victor Presas today. A 2-run, 4-hit rally in the first was all that Sergio Alvarado and Derek DeGolyer would need as the combined the shut out the Rangers. Alvarado had to be in particular frustrating for them as they continually made contact, striking out just once, but couldn't get anything going against him.
