Yep, from me (with some extras to spare.) This is an incredible coincidence, as I am on 1147 packs opened (I do keep track) and was waiting to reach the 1200 mark to create this exact topic. In 1147 packs, I have only received two Perfects, both live.
I don't begrudge you or anyone else the good fortune of getting good drops, but I think it's borderline criminal that the pack opening system in its current form can allow for such imbalances to arise. I am 100% never going to be on the same playing field again as someone who has already pulled not just 6 Perfects, but 6 historical Perfects in the same number of packs as I opened, with a bunch of live ones thrown in for good measure.
What also doesn't help is that none (literally not one) of the NL Diamond cards I've pulled was viable for even mid term play. On the AH there are plenty of Diamonds worth upwards of 100K pp, but no such luck for me.
Every time someone raises the topic of packs not delivering even close to their stated contents (odds), the discussion gets quelched by players (not you) and devs saying: 'but the macro data shows it all evens out!' This does not change the fact that the user experience is so vastly different from one player to the next, that they might as well be playing different games (or opening different packs.) What is the number of packs where the
individual user can expect to see drop rates approaching the norm? 5,000, 10,000, 100,000?
Even notoriously cash-grabbing games like Genshin Impact (my son plays this) have a 'pity pull' system in place (so as not to alienate players?), but OOTP knowingly maintains this model where, supposedly randomly, some players are extremely lucky (200% Perfect rate in your case) while others are extremely not so (see examples in the thread, and my 33% drop rate vs. pack odds.)
I'd best stop typing now, as I am actually getting worked up about a video game on the internet. Suffice to say I am a bit more than displeased at the moment.
Best of luck to everyone else in the
Pack Struggle. Stay strong.
