In the top of the third, Cirillo put the Brewers on the board with a 376 foot two-out solo homer.

In the bottom of the fourth, Gonzalez knotted the score with a 397 foot lead off home run.

In the bottom of the fifth, Canseco put the Rangers in the lead with a run-scoring single.

In the bottom of the sixth, Doug Henry took the mound for the Brewers.

After six: Texas 2 Milwaukee 1.

In the top of the seventh, Seitzer tied the game with a two-out run-scoring triple. Seitzer then scored the go-ahead run when Palmer booted a Mieske grounder. An RBI single by Cirillo followed.

In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases empty and two out, Graeme Lloyd took the mound for the Brewers. After Clark reached on an error, Mike Ignasiak took the mound for the Brewers. The Rangers loaded the bases with two out and then Palmer drew a four-pitch walk to make it a one-run game. But Rodriguez then flew to right to end the inning.

In the bottom of the eighth, Lee delivered the game-tying 409 foot solo longball.

In the top of the ninth, Tom Henke took the mound for the Rangers.

In the bottom of the ninth, with the bases empty and one out, Jesse Orosco took the mound for the Brewers.

After nine: Milwaukee 4 Texas 4.

In the top of the tenth, the Brewers loaded the bases with nobody out. After Henke got Jaha on strikes, Cris Carpenter took the mound for the Rangers. Vaughn greeted him with a 348 foot grand slam. Nilsson then made it back-to-back home runs with a 365 foot solo wallop.

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the contest.
