Yeah, there was no truly dominant team this year in either league, so the field was wide open. Both Braeland City and Fort Richmond suffered injuries to their pitching staffs, but the Generals had the depth to carry them through. And they got hot at the right time as well.
Sherlock was actually a 2nd-round pick by the Pelicans before he was traded to Fort Richmond for C Danny Trowbridge (who just retired this offseason) while still in the minors. Trowbridge is one of the greatest players in ULB history, buts its interesting that Fort Richmond ended up winning more Untied Cups with Sherlock (2) than Kingston did with Trowbridge (1).
And Sherlock's a 'borderline starter'? Who said that - borderline scout? He's certainly not playing like one.
