Whenever a patch drops, you MUST reinstall the file - what you had in there has been wiped.

But! you can't do it until you've started (then closed) the new version at least once. Otherwise, it'll go download patch -> install typo-free text file -> start app -> fixed file is overwritten -> gotta do it all over again.
