Walkers news: April 28 -- Fort Wayne 5, St. Louis 4

Record: 15-10, 1st/(Tied/w. Cedar Rapids), 1 GA Kansas City
Tied 3-3, Marco Zurita connected on a two-run double with two outs in the top of the ninth inning to put Fort Wayne in front, and the Mad Men held on for a 5-4 win over St. Louis at Busch Stadium (2006).
The River Walkers had tied the game in the bottom of the fifth on a two-run homer from Chris Duncan off Fort Wayne starting pitcher Kyle Freeman.
In the ninth, Clay Owens got things rolling for the Mad Men when he drew a one-out walk from Juan Munoz.
Pitcher Gaspare Galvanoni followed with a single, putting base runners at first and second.
Dorian Gonzalez hit into a fielder's choice, leaving runners at the corners.
Zurita then connected on his double, driving a 2-1 pitch from Munoz down the left-field line.
St. Louis did get a run off Fort Wayne closer Eric Warren in the bottom of the ninth.
Daniel Becerra doubled with one out and scored on a Carlos Gallegos triple.
But Warren buckled down and got both Duncan and Zach Caddell to fly out to secure his eighth save.
Freeman lasted five innings, allowing three runs on five hits. He struck out three and walked two.
Bill White worked a scoreless sixth.
The seventh and eighth belonged to Gavlanoni (3-0), who earned the win.
