OOTP Developments Forums - View Single Post - I cannot auction a player? Confusing error message

I have tried to auction a player ( unlocked ) multiple times and I get the following message :

"An error occurred, could not put player card up for auction. Connection lost or limit of 50 active auctions reached! The player card is now deactivated and can be re-activated in the card collection screen. Please try again."

I have tried multiple times.
I have log off and log backed in.
I have exited the game, waited and come back in.

Not sure what I need to do next? Hope you can help.
