I have started the significant project of updating the populations for all municipalities listed in the census for the decade listed and will update this post as my work continues.

1. To reflect the makeup of baseball during this era, the ETHN_PCTS have been set to 100% caucasian and all second ethnicities have been removed.

2. For some states, much of the population did not reside within a defined municipality, particularly in southern states. To account for this population, I have created generic "cities" for each county and have set the population as the residual number of persons within that county not included in a municipality count.
