I think I figured this out - it appears that OOTP22 auto-installs in slightly different folders on Mac's than previous versions of OOTP (OOTP14-20) -at least for me on my mac. The naming convention was similar - but there were a couple of higher levels (HD personal folders vs Application Support).

I think this is related to/why I had difficulty/could not use the demo to import games from 20 into 21 and then 22. Something changed with the defaults in either 21 or 22.

Regardless, I've found the location and can now copy files into the saved games folder.
