I'm glad to see folks here expressing their personal opinions about whether or not they like ties. But that sorta' misses the point. The fact is that ties do (and did) exist in certain leagues, including MLB. If you don't like them, I'm sure there would be an option in OOTP so that you don't have to have them, just as there are options to ban the DH or infield shifts or a bunch of other things. Just because you don't like them, however, doesn't mean they shouldn't be an option for others.
