Chicago jumped on St. Louis rookie starter Juan Farias with three runs in the bottom of the first inning and the G-Men never took their foot off the gas in a 14-0 rout at Wrigley Field (1938).
The victory completed a three-game sweep for Chicago and was the fifth straight loss suffered by the River Walkers.
Farias retired the G-Men's Tony Nolasco to lead off the game, but the next four hitters all reached base beginning with a walk to Ken Turner.
Josh Rosborough followed with a single.
Back-to-back doubles from Val Moreno and Alfredo Cano, the latter scoring two runs, then made it 3-0.
Chicago grew its lead to 4-0 in the bottom of the third.
Rosborough tripled off Farias with one out. He scored on a Moreno single.
The game offiically became a rout an inning later, when Moreno hit a grand slam off Farias as Chicago's advantage reached 8-0.
Farias exited the game after that inning with a shoulder injury. He is expected to miss up to three weeks.
The G-Men did the rest of their scoring with a six-run seventh.
Willie Rubio drove in the first run with a single off Victor Roisles.
Nolasco followed with a three-run homer.
The Walkers then put infielder Daylen Reyes on the mound.
They got to him for a pair of runs, both scoring on a Kyren Paris single.
Chicago starting pitcher Joel Wisniewski went six scoreless innings, allowing four hits. He struck out six and didn't walk a batter.
After that, it was a scoreless inning apiece from Bill Webb, Clayton Ganley and Nate Guthrie to wrap up the win.
