Walkers news: May 25 -- Rockford 3, St. Louis 2, Game 2

Down 2-1, Rockford scored twice in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat St. Louis 3-2 and complete a doubleheader sweep at RFK Stadium (2005).
The win gave the Lightning wins in the final two games of the three-game series.
Left-hander Leo Hermosillo came out to open the bottom of the ninth and face the left-handed hitting Ernesto Ferreras.
He walked him.
Closer Craig Fritzler took over.
He proceeded to blow his sixth save of the season, two more than all of the 2038 season.
Yui Watanabe started it with a walk.
Javy Monjaraz followed with a single to load the bases.
Fritzler, who is averaging 7.2 walks per nine innings, then walked Greg Bernier to bring in the tying run.
Fritzer was then told to take a hike in favor of Brett McVey.
Joel Petrucci hit a grounder with Watanbe being thrown out at the plate.
But Bill Morris ended it with a single to left.
St. Louis took a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth.
Joe Allen led off with a single off Rockford reliever Jon Diez.
Chris Gibbs followed with a singe,
Allen later scored on a bunt by pitcher Agustin Perdomo.
Rockford starting pitcher Gary Snelling lasted 4.1 innings, allowing one run on five hits. He struck out three and walked three.
Jon Diaz finished the fifth and worked the sixth, allowing the Walkers final run.
After that, Sam Gibb, Jose Tapia and Michael Walgren all pitched scoreless innings.
Walgren (6-1) earned his sixth win of the season.
