I just started this week with a new park setup attempting to cater to my strengths (and weaknesses). My park hits well in the gaps for extra bases, but HR's are pretty limited. It's helped keep the ball in the park for my movement deficient starters, and my defense and contact are good enough to balance it well on offense and defense.
I wonder sometimes if it just makes up the difference when you play on the road... my pitchers have been more HR prone than usual when traveling, despite the home park doing what it's supposed to do. Overall, it seems to be helping against diamond lineups.
