This is an interesting deal. Hudler missed some time already with injury this year, but has six points in the seven games he's played. Meanwhile, Jake Gardiner is currently injured for a month or more with an ACL injury, but produced five points in his first ten games until then. Calgary picks up a point a game top six forward, while St. Louis gets younger with the acquisition of 23 year old Jake Gardiner. With his size and skill, this trade is a win for the Blues if he hits his potential.
