Having web dev'd and run a few communities in various different areas. Forums like this are very quickly becoming a thing of the past.

Not to say Discord is perfect (it's far from it) but this is definitely a case of adapt or get left behind that is nothing new to the internet. It's become fairly clear that Discord and Twitch are the primary means of communication for OOTP especially when it comes to PT stuff. Majority of the playerbase has adapted, the ones that refuse to do so give off some serious "back in my day" crotchety old man vibes.

At least it's not like some other developers that only communicate via twitter.
