I should finish year #6 of this league this evening. Using 1987 is turning out to be a wild ride. Lots and lots of home runs. Stan the Man just nailed 54 bombs in 1909 to set the new single season record. Harmon Killebrew is the leader in the clubhouse for career blasts and barring a complete meltdown should be the first player to reach 250. Musial and Killebrew have been Boston Americans/Red Sox teammates from 1905-1909.
I'm using strict, occasionally start the highest rested and so far there's only been 2 starting pitchers that have reached the 20 win mark for a season. Overall it's been a bumpy ride for pitching, especially in the AL(DH). Mike Garcia looks like he has a pretty good chance to be he first starter to reach 100 victories.
