Walkers news: April 12 -- Evansville 10, St. Louis 6

Record: 4-7, 5th/(Tied/w. Louisville), 5 GB Des Moines
Down 6-4, Evansville ripped the St. Louis bullpen for six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to send the Bosses to a 10-6 win at Yankee Stadium (1988).
The River Walkers grabbed a 4-0 lead over the first four innings against Bosses starting pitcher Travis Rinker.
A four-run bottom of the sixth against St. Louis starting pitcher Ming Xiang allowed the Bosss to tie the game.
Sam Muszynski drove in two of the runs with a single.
The Walkers regained the lead with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh.
But the Bosses busted loose in the bottom of the eighth to take the lead for good.
Muszynski opened the inning with a homer off reliever Josh Joyce.
Andy Reiss and Shenouda Sokoine followed with singles, chasing Joyce from the game.
Aaron Attaway Jr. took the mound and retired the first batter he faced.
But Tom Brooks followed with an RBI single.
Ellis Straub then received an intentional walk.
Antonio Cruz took over.
He got Jim Sukut to ground out.
But Chris Cassidy followed with a three-run triple to make it 10-6.
Travis Rinker went 5.2 innings for the Bosses, allowing four runs on nine hits. He struck out six and walked two.
Dennis Sullivan got the third out of the sixth for Evansville.
Andy Durivage worked the seventh for the Bosses and allowed the final two St. Louis runs.
Justin Lopez (2-1) earned the win after a scoreless eighth,
Fernando Bustamante handled the ninth with a four-run lead.
