I'm wracking my brain but I can't think of anything other than maybe corrupted files that would have nothing to do with your custom setup. (In looking back at my original post - #2 in this thread - with instructions on how to accomplish your league, there's nothing there that would cause OOTP any problems... (Although different minor leagues and different years, I have done exactly what you've done and had no problems advancing from one year to the next.)

I looked at that thread and could not find anything about this issue. I posted it on bug section twice. The first time it would not let me attach anything. The second time, I was able to attach the trace file. We will see if Lucas can figure it out.
