Blues 2 @ Canucks 1 (OT)
(Vancouver leads series 2-1)


St. Louis played a physical game (38 hits) without ever being penalized. They also controlled the faceoff circle. Kesler scored in the first from Daniel and Marchessault, but in the second Patrik Berglund evened it up on the powerplay while P.K. Subban was in the box. After almost an entire extra frame, Andy McDonald snuck one past Markstrom with five seconds to go. McDonald had a goal and an assist, five shots and three hits in a dominant performance that earned him the first star. Jaden Schwartz assisted on the winner and by all accounts played an excellent game at both ends, throwing five hits and two blocks. Marchessault had a good game for the Canucks with four shots on goal and four hits.

Kings 0 @ Blackhawks 3
(Chicago leads series 3-0)

In the first, Keith scored his second of the playoffs, shorthanded, assisted by Leddy (his seventh assist of the postseason) and Sharp. Leddy later notched a powerplay marker, assisted by Jonathan Toews. Dave Bolland increased the lead at the end of the second (Hossa, Danault). Crawford made 26 saves in the shutout. Doughty played an excellend defensive game in the loss. He took three shots on goal, blocked four shots, threw two hits and was credited with a takeaway. Duncan Keith blocked seven shots.

Red Wings 1 @ Senators 2
(Ottawa leads series 2-1)

Filip Forsberg got the home crowd on their feet early with his fifth of the playoffs only forty five seconds in, with Foligno and Spezza getting assists. Niklas Hagman evened it up on a powerplay with four minutes to go in the third. Cal O'Reilly and Tomas Tatar with the helpers. With the game on its way to overtime, Jason Spezza notched the game winner with just over two minutes to play, from Foligno and Greening. Petr Mrazek stopped 36 of 38 shots in the loss. Ben Bishop made 20 saves in the victory. Bottom pairing defenseman Andre Benoit fired a whopping ten shots, eight of which were on goal. Erik Karlsson was plus two with six shot attempts (three on goal), three blocks, a hit and two takeaways.

Bruins 1 @ Rangers 3
(New York leads series 2-1)

The teams traded first period goals, with Marchand striking first for Boston, assisted by Boychuk and Bergeron, and Scheifele responding for New York, from Callahan. The Rangers had a dominant second period, outshooting the Bruins 14-7 and getting goals from Stepan (Zuccarello, Stralman) and Scheifele (Callahan, Gaborik). A scoreless third period sealed the win for the Rangers. Lundqvist made 24 saves in the win, while his counterpart Tuukka Rask stopped 28 of 31 shots in the loss. On top of his two goals and plus two rating, Mark Scheifele also had three hits and a takeaway. Zuccarello had an assist, four shots, two hits and one takeaway. New York's third pairing of Stralman and Sauer were plus three on the night. Stralman had an assist, three shots on goal and a hit, while Sauer blocked five shots, had a fight and two hits and a takeaway.
