Not sure what's going on here. There is a ground ball next to 2b. The SS and 2B stand and watch it while the CF comes all the way in to pick up the infield single. The PBP describes it as a sinking liner to CF, but the ball first hits the ground on the pitcher's mound and barely makes it to 2B.
