So I succumbed to the temptation and bought a second copy of the game during the Winter Sale. Two days in and I had completed the Live Series, installing Hank Aaron as left fielder in time for Rookie League.

His numbers:

.375/.473/.825 with 69 home runs, 190 RBI, 14.6 WAR. That got him Triple Crown and about a 100% chance he hauls in MVP as well.

The real surprise: 63 stolen bases (in 69 attempts).

The reward maxes out at 40/40 player, but has anyone ever seen a 60/60 in Perfect Team at any level? Monstrous.
