Introducing the Kobe Thunder, the team with two histories, based on where they are in the Sets.

In Set A, the Thunder were initially the Hyogo Gladiators, but the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995 destroyed their old stadium. As a result, ownership gave up and sold them to an investment group that moved the team to Kobe proper. A fan vote for the name was held, the winner was Thunder, and, realizing they just alienated part of their own fan base, decided to keep the name as a sign of good will. New ownership underestimated the costs of running such an organization and they would eventually merge with the Osaka Bulls in 2004.

In set B, the Thunder were always in Kobe, but came up under a different name; the Flyers. After 2 decades of failure to 'fly high' as the name suggested, ownership decided to hold a name the team contest. The winner came from a high school girl from Okayama, citing the harsh summer weather experienced during the peak of baseball season. She was clearly ahead of her time as the Thunder remain an intimidating presence to this very day.

Font is Vampire Wars by Darrell Flood, and the colors are taken from Kobe's city flag. The logo is taken from a generic logo set in the forums (the 6000+ logo one) with modified colors to match Kobe's city colors.
