Collegiate Pyramid – 1906 Season

Mississippi State does it again… much to the chagrin of, well, me. LSU operated 4 games of the pace, Arizona and the defending champion Arkansas both finished 11 games out, and everyone else was barely worth talking about… that’s 4 titles in 7 years for the Bulldog’s folks. This is their world and we’re just living in it.

-CF Bobby Frank (Texas A&M) hit for the cycle against Arkansas… and, while Texas A&M did walk Arkansas off, it wasn’t Bobby Frank N’ Beans that did it.
-Two more milestones… SP Ron Traxler (South Carolina) is the first hurler to record 100 wins in the top flight, and Rough N’ Ready Clark Herbert (GA Tech) is the first player to hit 200 TANKS.
