Unfortunately, if a player refuses to negotiate an extension with you in after you withdraw an offer, there is not much you can do to change their mind. Once an offer has been withdrawn, the player's morale and willingness to sign an extension may decrease, and it may be difficult to repair the relationship.

However, since you are still in August of your season, you have some time to try to improve the player's morale and relationship with your team.

Overall, it may take some time and effort to repair the relationship with the player, but with the right approach, you may still be able to negotiate an extension in the future.
