I know you say you don't care how they are displayed, but the different scale along with HRA/pbabip and batter babip (along with power being separated from contact) means the players do look different. For me that means my mind has to learn how to look at my players with the new skills profile, where before a quick glance would suffice. FWIW it's not taking long to get used to.
The biggest thing that throws me off is individual pitch ratings are bugged. The ratings you see are too low, but under the hood they are fine. It's hard to link these pitch ratings with the quality I would expect from the P. This means I have not signed FA pitchers nor extended contracts. I'll wait for the patch ands see how it sorts out. I'm lucky in that I play out every game and this will be patched before I finish ST. Leaving me plenty of time to evaluate my pitchers. Of course as long as this patch doesn't get further delayed. I don't expect problems after the patch, but who knows? It's wait and see.
It's probably not much of an answer. My satisfaction level may be a lot different than yours. But it's all I've got.

Thanks. I'm waiting on updating still but as long as the underlying ratings are good then I'll get used to the new displayed talent levels. Once I finish polishing the league I'm using now I'll import, since it's partly historical the longer I wait, the more accurate the database.
This might be the incentive to go stats only, since that will take away any shock of massively changed ratings
