I’m still not sure why there is resurrection but I can see that toggle box on as a problem if you want no actual historical players but fictional ones instead in a real life historical context.

Yeah, I was planning on doing the latter, entirely starting with fictional players with all the records (from the old 1800s players) cleaned out, but then great rookies like Ty Cobb would shock the league and create a new world of baseball. I also thought I could turn the rookies setting on and off if I wanted some fictional draft classes, so there could be a balance of historic and brand-new superstars running the league. That whole idea is ruined a bit when the old guys who I swore got deleted rise up and start yapping that they hold the ERA crown for something they "claimed" to do in 1885
