GM Meyer on the move to their 1st overall draft pick:
"We had a move in store as we attempted to move up in the draft significantly but we couldn't make it happen in the amount of time. Looking at the players that were available, we felt like it was the right decision to move on from this draft pick."

When asked what draft pick they were trying to move up to, Meyer smirked and said "that's between me and the rest of my staff. We're still in talks with the team to see if there is anything that we can still make a deal."
